This past Saturday night OVC hosted their 2nd Annual Fundraiser – “Soccer Palooza”. The venue was covered in our club colors, so everywhere you looked was orange and royal blue. The decor was amazing and so was the outcome of the party. At one point we guessed there were about 150 OVC supporters and each one was more than generous with their donations. There was music by the talented band “Sunday Hustle” who kept the crowd entertained for hours. Silent auctions, raffles and bidding on Nike custom-painted soccer balls were just some of the other activities that kept the crowd busy the entire night.
Other than the whole “fundraising” aspect of the night it was great just to see different OVC fans mingle throughout the whole night. Parents from all age groups got to know each other away from the soccer field and just enjoy a night out. Our staff is excited to see the club grow, and to see the growing number of supporters who come out to our events. We can not wait until next year’s party!
